Skips can be used for a variety of materials. Anything from mixed construction to soil and stone. Call our Customer Experience Team to discuss your materials.

All skips must be level loaded. Anything over will incur a charge.

Check out our skip sizes page to get a general idea of size difference. But, our most popular is a 12yrd skip. However, please be aware that most local authorities do not allow anything larger than an 8yrd on the road.

Skips can only be placed on private land. If this is not the case then a permit must be issued.

If the skip will be located on the road even in a private parking bay, you will need a permit from the local authority. The length of time permits take to issue varies by council anywhere between 3 -10 working days on average. The length of the permit varies by council.

Unfortunately, a private business or individual is not eligible to acquire a permit for use. The permit will be issued through us and attached to the relevant public liability and waste carries licence.

Contact our customer experience team on 0333 222 9945 to book your skip for collection. Depending upon availability, skips are usually collected within 1-3 working days of request. The collection time can increase during peak season.
